When is the Election? Are you registered to vote? When will you receive your ballot? How does all of this work?

Get answers to all of your questions straight from the source at our 2026 General Election Kickoff on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Larimer County Administrative Services (200 W Oak St, Fort Collins, CO 80521). Our presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of key dates, essential reminders, and other important information for the upcoming election, including updating your registration, receiving and returning your ballot, and more.

RSVPs are encouraged but optional. You don't need to RSVP to attend. This event is open to the public and free. Learn more and RSVP at larimer.gov/election-kickoff.

Tours

To help community members learn more about what happens to their ballot after they return it, our Office offers tours of our Counting Facility.

Please note: tours are only offered upon request. We are also unable to offer tours during active election cycles. To request a tour for your group or organization, email elections@larimer.gov.

How do you register to vote? Where can you find information and resources on candidates? What happens to your ballot after you return it? Join Larimer County Elections and the League of Women Voters for a comprehensive presentation on the voting process Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Larimer County Administrative Services building in the Hearing Room (200 W Oak St, Fort Collins, CO 80521). Light snacks will be provided. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. This event is open to the public and free.
