Birding Hike
It's fall, and the birds are heading to warmer climes! Explore the birds of Lions Open Space and learn what they're up to this time of year. Walk 1-2 miles with Larimer County Education and Volunteer Specialist, Ellen Harris, along the Poudre River trail to learn about migration, what birds need, and more. Easy (slow pace, some uneven surfaces, mixed surface trail). All experience levels welcome!

Meet near the picnic shelter upriver from the parking lot. Car pooling is recommended as parking is limited. Binoculars are highly recommended if you have them, a few pairs will be available to borrow.
