Come join us for a Retired K9 Foundation event!

The Larimer Retired K9 Foundation was started because the LCSO K9 deputies are a valuable asset to the safety of our community and have provided years of dedicated service during their active duty as a deputy. Our nonprofit foundation was formed to support K9 deputies when they are ready to retire, whether due to age or injury. The Larimer Retired K9 Foundation ensures the K9 handler and family can adopt their retired K9 deputy and lead a happy and healthy retirement without undue financial burden due to costs associated with the K9. Donations to the Larimer Retired K9 Foundation are used to pay for medical and care expenses for each LCSO retired K9. The mission is to ensure the devoted partnership between handler and retired K9 continues through the rest of the K9 deputy’s life.
