Historicorps Preservation Project - Postponed

This project is being rescheduled for a later date. Check back for updates.
Local and visiting volunteers with HistoriCorps' preservation experts will return to Red Mountain Open Space to preserve and protect a 1915 historic horse barn. The proposed work at the horse barn includes repairing and replacing the deteriorated siding of the 30-foot barn, repairing/replacing trims, priming and repainting the building, and repairing the existing metal roof by replacing in-kind severely deteriorated metal panels. The horse barn is an important physical remnant of the area's pioneer agricultural and ranching heritage.
