Join Larimer County Naturalist and go bats for bats! Learn about these misunderstood animals' critical role in Colorado's ecosystems. During this program, you'll learn about the different species of bats that call our area home, their unique adaptations, the vital role they play in our ecosystem, and current conservation efforts. Learn and experience the mysterious and often misunderstood lives of our only flying mammal!

Participants will meet at the picnic pavilionin the main parking lot. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear layers, and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
Program is free but a parking permit is required. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Participants should bring:
Flashlight or headlamp with RED LIGHT option
Hiking shoes
Water
Insect repellant (optional)
Snacks (optional)
Clothing appropriate for the weather
