Wildflowers and Nature

Explore the beauty of Ramsay-Shockey Open Space. This 3.9 mile hike around the Pinewood Reservoir will present us an opportunity to observe local wildflowers, birds and learn more about our natural environment. Easy to moderate difficulty.

Meet at the Ramsay-Shockey Trailhead parking lot by 9:00 am. Car pooling is recommended as parking is limited. Bring binoculars if desired, water and snacks.

Participants should bring:
Sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen)
Wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes (closed-toe recommended)
Water
Insect repellant
Lunch & Snacks
Clothing appropriate for the weather
Backpack (to carry it all)
