Resilience starts at the local level.
Resilience starts with you.
But we are stronger together.

We have created a virtual space for community members across Larimer County to connect and work together to build vibrant, resilient, and supportive communities.

This is a open space for community members to share ideas, seek solutions for challenges, inspire one another and set goals, and to collaborate.

Whether people want to start a community hub, learn how to develop a volunteer culture, want to promote emergency preparedness planning or help one another recover from adverse events, or more, this will be the forum in which to do so!

We are currently meeting monthly, and community members establish the frequency for meeting, drive the discussion, determine topics for the month, and request guest speakers with facilitation support from the Larimer Connects Program Manager.

Community Rules for Participation:

Be Tough on Concepts, Not People. In this space, we want to talk about ways to improve resilience and connectivity, and that may warrant constructive criticism. We ask that this is done in a courteous and respectful manner.

  1. Be Kind and Courteous. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
  2. No Hate Speech or Bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind is not allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.
  3. No Promotions or Spam. Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
  4. Respect Everyone's Privacy. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in this group should stay in the group.

(Meetings are monthly, alternating between the 2nd Monday at 7:00 pm and the 2nd Friday at 9:30 am)

Email Lori Hodges, to request the zoom link to access the meeting.

    We are also on Facebook!

We have a Larimer Connects Neighborhood Facebook Page where the conversation can continue in between meetings. Click here to join the group!

Make sure to carefully read the community guidelines, as agreeing to them is required to be approved to join this group. This is to ensure that the Community page remains a positive and safe space for all who participate.

    Next Meeting: May 13 | 9:30 a.m.

    Guest Speaker(s):

    To be determined

Guest speaker portions of the community meeting are recorded as a resource for folks who are not able to attend the meeting, or for people who are interested in learning about programs, training opportunities, or other forms of information available in Larimer County.

Following the guest speaker portion of the meeting, the recording is stopped to allow a space for community members to share openly in the forum and make it a more inviting space.
