First half property tax deadline reminder

Larimer County Treasurer and Public Trustee Irene Josey reminds taxpayers that Monday, Feb. 28, 2022 is the deadline for paying the first half of your property taxes. This deadline is for taxpayers who pay their taxes in two equal installments; the second half is due June 15.

Your precinct number has changed. Why does it matter?

The Colorado Independent Redistricting Commission and the Colorado Supreme Court have approved final redistricting plans based on the most recent federal decennial census, changing the State Representative, State Senatorial, and Congressional district boundaries in Larimer County.

Paratransit company awarded grant to continue operating safely

The Board of Larimer County Commissioners approved an Immediate Needs Grant of $50,000 to assist Heart and Soul Paratransit with providing paratransit to community members in need of transportation services.

Presidents’ Day holiday closure

Larimer County Offices, and District Attorney will be closed on Feb. 21, 2022, in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday. The Larimer County Landfill will be open.

Critical services at Larimer County are not disrupted by closures.

Following successful careers in both the private and public sectors, Larimer County Manager Linda Hoffmann has announced her intent to retire. Her final day at Larimer County will be April 6, 2022.
