Lon Hagler Reservoir Drowning – August 31, 2021

On August 31, 2021, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a death scene at the Lon Hagler Reservoir in Loveland, Colorado. The decedent has been identified as Adam Kaiser, age 90 of Federal Heights, Colorado.

Behavioral Health Services Advisory Groups now accepting applications

Larimer County residents who serve on advisory boards and commissions play a vital role making recommendations to the Board of Larimer County Commissioners on many matters. Currently three Larimer County Behavioral Health Services [BHS] advisory groups have openings. The deadline to apply for these openings has been extended to Friday, October 15.

Behavioral Health Services amends facility contract to prepare for opening in 2023

An amended Professional Services Agreement with SummitStone Health Partners for the new county-owned regional behavioral health facility was presented to the Larimer County Board of County Commissioners and approved during the Administrative Matters meeting on Sept. 7, 2021.

Commissioner Jody Shadduck-McNally to honor people 100 years and older

Older adults who have achieved the age of 100 or older (centenarians) will be honored at the 2021 Centenarian Project Celebration Event on Sept. 24. Centenarians will be awarded with certificates prepared by the Colorado Commission on Aging (CCOA) and signed by Colorado Governor Jared Polis.

Learning continues with the Book Box Project
