Cache la Poudre Canyon River Death – July 26, 2021
On July 26, 2021, Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a death scene at the Cache la Poudre River near Indian Meadows Lodge in Bellevue, Colorado. The decedent has been identified as Richard Brown, age 85 of Bellevue, Colorado.
A forensic autopsy was performed by Larimer County Coroner James A. Wilkerson IV, M.D.
Dr. Wilkerson has ruled the manner of death as an accident and the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries and asphyxia by drowning.
