May is Older Americans Month, a perfect opportunity to show our appreciation for the older adults and caregivers in our community. Since 1963, communities across the nation have come together to celebrate Older Americans Month—a proud tradition that shows our nation’s commitment to recognizing the contributions and achievements of older Americans. Here in Larimer County we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the strength of older adults and their caregivers with our Older Americans Month Awards.

We need your help to find and recognize an outstanding senior volunteer and outstanding family caregiver in our community. These individuals will have a generous spirit, positive attitude and devote their time to help others.

The outstanding senior volunteer is someone involved in our community as an advocate for seniors and senior issues. To nominate an outstanding senior volunteer, fill out the online form or download the form to email or mail the nomination.

The outstanding family caregiver is someone caring for an individual 60 years of age or older, providing them with the highest quality of life possible. To nominate an outstanding family caregiver, fill out the online form or download the form to email or mail the nomination.

*Due date for nominations is April 1st.
