Like much of the United States, families in Larimer County are experiencing a severe shortage of infant formula. The following is a list of local efforts that may help those in need.

Food Bank of Larimer County/The Nappie Project: The Food Bank of Larimer county accepts donations of unopened baby formula, diapers and baby wipes. Learn more on how and where to donate at the links below.

Gabriel House Fort Collins: This organization supports Moms and Dads with young families from conception to about age 5 providing diapers, wipes, formula as well as other support and resource referrals.  Click the link below to see days/hours they are open and ways to contact the organization.

Mary’s Cradle: Mary’s Cradle helps struggling families by furnishing diapers, wipes, formula, clothing and community resource information.  This is located at our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Click the link below to learn more.

Mothers Milk Bank: Colorado and Mothers’ Milk Bank (MBM) are asking for donations of breast milk or financial donations that would help families with the cost of supply, and bringing awareness to an alternative supplemental milk supply during the current crisis.  Click the links below to learn how to donate and buy milk.

Stork Support of Northern Colorado: This organization helps babies and families during their first year of life.  They accept a wide range of donations, including unopened baby formula.  They do currently have a small formula supply.  Click the link for their Amazon wish list, Venmo and list of donation items they accept.

WIC (Women, Infants, Children): The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
