Transportation impact fees, building permit fees to increase in July
Transportation Capital Expansion Fees on July 1 will rise by 3.9%. The adjustment reflects the rising cost of road construction during the previous year.
Larimer County has been collecting transportation capital expansion fees since 1998 from new traffic-generating development to compensate for increased traffic loads from new development.
The 3.9% increase is based on the Colorado Construction Cost Index data reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
