Larimer County stormwater design standards update
The Larimer County Engineering Department is updating the county’s Stormwater Design Standards. The current standards were adopted in 2005 and have not been updated since that time. The standards will be updated to meet industry standards in accordance with the current volumes of the Mile High Flood District Manual.
The standards address the design of stormwater facilities including culverts, storm sewers, open channels, bridges, and detention ponds, and provide information regarding the design submittals required for permitting and construction.
A public meeting has been scheduled to provide a brief overview of the updated standards and allows time for questions. The meeting may be attended virtually via Zoom or in person at the Larimer County Administrative Services Building, 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins.
