Behavioral Health Services Seeking Advisory Group Members

BHS Advisory Groups

Behavioral Health Services is seeking new members for its three advisory groups. Members of these dynamic groups help drive funding priorities for the Impact Fund Grant Program, act as liaisons within the community, attend monthly meetings, and provide critical input.

Advisory Group Process

Behavioral Health Policy Council (BHPC)
Dedicated to improving the behavioral health of all residents of Larimer County, eight elected officials, six at-large members, and a Commissioner liaison work together to foster regional coordination, communication, and countywide partnerships to ensure continued community engagement and the equitable distribution of annual grant funds.

Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
As a standing workgroup of the BHPC, professionals in the behavioral health field work to improve outcomes, identify current gaps in community behavioral health care and develop annual funding recommendations for the BHS Impact Fund Grant Program.

Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC)
This workgroup consists of members who bring their personal experience and expertise, alongside the TAC, to identify gaps in available care and suggest ways to improve the quality of accessible, affordable care and appropriate services.
