Loveland Death Investigation - June 2nd, 2022

On June 02, 2022, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to the Medical Center of The Rockies Emergency Department to perform a death investigation. The decedent was transported to MCR ED after he was discovered with a single gunshot wound after crashing his vehicle on Southbound I-25 between U.S. Highway 34 and Colorado Highway 402.

The decedent has been identified as Jeremiah Johnson, age 37, of Johnstown, Colorado. A forensic autopsy was performed by Larimer County Coroner James A. Wilkerson, IV, M.D.

Dr. Wilkerson has ruled the Manner of Death is Suicide and the Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound. 

No other information will be released from this office.
