C.A.S.T. for Kids - Volunteers Wanted!

Volunteers needed for C.A.S.T. For Kids at Horsetooth Reservoir. Help us provide a morning of fishing and celebration for youth with disabilities.

Seeking:

  • Experienced Volunteer Boaters with a boat to host a child and parent/guardian.
  • Co-Captains to assist on large boats.
  • Anyone with a heart to serve children and help with on-shore facilitation duties.

Approximately 6 hours of volunteer time. Volunteers arrive at 6:00 am.

Join us for a joyful day of fishing which brings youth with disabilities, their families, and community volunteers together for a day of fun and inspiration! Centennial Bass Club, partnering with Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, brings this joyful annual event to Horsetooth Reservoir. This event provides a refreshing break from their daily challenges and spreads a positive message that youth with disabilities can accomplish anything.

Volunteer Duties include:

  • Taking child & parent out on your boat
  • Assisting on boats
  • Event Set-up/Clean-up
  • Registration/Attendance
  • Rod/Reel/Tackle Prep
  • Fishing with children
  • Prep & serve lunch
  • and more!
