South Larimer County location added for 2022 appeals
Larimer County Assessor Bob Overbeck has added an additional location for property owners in Loveland to appeal their property value this year.
In addition to the Fort Collins location at 200 West Oak St., staff from the Larimer County Assessor’s Office will be available during May to accept property value protests at the Larimer County Loveland Campus, 200 Peridot Ave., Loveland.
Property owners in our community wishing to speak to a licensed appraiser may do so on a walk-in basis at the Loveland location from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., May 9 through May 20, 2022. No appointment is necessary.
"We added this location again this year due to positive feedback from the public regarding greater accessibility of our offices during appeals. Residents living in Loveland, Berthoud, Johnstown, and Estes Park will continue to have a closer facility to submit their protests,” said Larimer County Assessor Bob Overbeck. “You can also appeal by phone from the comfort of your own home to avoid the drive. To appeal by phone, residents will need to schedule an appointment. We have done our best to make this process as easy and convenient as possible for everyone.”
Property owners may also protest their valuation online until June 1, 2022, by using the Larimer County Online Real Property Protest Tool, and via U.S Mail postmarked by June 1 to the Larimer County Assessor, P.O. Box 1190, Fort Collins Colorado 80522, or by scheduling an in-person or phone appointment.
