Larimer County Community Development Director on board

Rebecca Everette has been selected as Larimer County’s new Community Development Director, bringing over 14 years of experience to Larimer County, with just over nine of those years in several leadership positions working for the City of Fort Collins.

She will lead the Community Development Department which implements the Larimer County Land Use Code and manages other land use matters.

Everette last served as the Planning Manager for the City of Fort Collins from January 2014 to March 2023. While at the city of Fort Collins, she worked as a development review manager and senior environmental planner.

Prior to her Fort Collins role, she worked for both Logan Simpson Design and AECOM Design + Planning as an environmental planner.

Everette will report to Larimer County Director of Community Planning, Infrastructure, and Resources Lesli Ellis who previously held the community development director position.
