Behavioral Health Services is honored by the number of grant applications we receive annually and humbled by the impactful behavioral health work happening across our community. Thank you, to the following grant recipients and their commitment to serving Larimer County.

As you look over the data, please keep these things in mind: 

  • This is a competitive, annual grant program. Some organizations are awarded funding during one grant cycle but may not be approved for funding in another. 
  • Behavioral Health Services became a department in 2019, after the 20-year ballot measure passed in 2018. "Crisis Response Funds" were administered in 2020, in response to the COVID pandemic. 
  • The department's advisory groups developed the Targeted Funding Areas, which went into effect in 2021. 
  • During the 2025 cycle, the department shifted to a streamlined, four-tier funding model, where organizations request $25,000, $50,000, $75,000, or $100,000. In prior grant cycles, organizations could request specific dollar amounts, which is why database users may note differences in funding totals in 2024 and earlier.
