If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. - African proverb

Since the 20-year ballot measure passed in 2018, we’ve been transforming our behavioral health system — step by step — together. Over the past seven years, we’ve expanded crisis care at the Longview campus and funded 77 community organizations through our Impact Fund Grant Program. With these initiatives firmly established, we’re now ready to broaden our investment strategy and deepen collaboration.

I’m excited to announce The Synergy Fund, a new opportunity for community partners to work together toward shared solutions that strengthen our system of care. This fund will support ideas that build relationships, spark long-term partnerships, and improve behavioral health outcomes by enhancing collaboration and shared impact across the behavioral health system.

In alignment with the Community Master Plan for behavioral health, The Synergy Fund seeks to:

  • Encourage learning, connection, and coordination among providers and nonprofits,
  • Seed early-stage collaboration efforts, even before full partnerships exist,
  • Reduce duplication and competition by exploring shared solutions, and
  • Support innovative or experimental ideas that advance community well-being

Applications of up to $10,000 are now open. Learn more on our new web page.

Collaboration is a process, not a product. Learning together, building relationships, and aligning efforts are outcomes in their own right — and they deserve to be funded. This isn’t just about dollars. It’s about transforming how we work together to strengthen mental health and substance-use support in our community.

Thank you for all you do to support behavioral health in Larimer County. We can’t wait to see the partnerships and ideas that emerge from this exciting opportunity.

Warmly,

Amy Martonis, MSW
