Required Food Safety Certification for Retail Establishments
Colorado has adopted the 2022 FDA Food Code, which requires all retail food establishments to have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on site during business hours.
The Larimer County Extension Office is proud to offer Certified Food Protection Manager training in partnership with the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment.
What’s Included
Instructor-led NEHA training with experienced food safety educator
ANSI-accredited exam (widely accepted across the U.S.)
Textbook and supplemental printed training materials
Proctored exam at the end of class
Class Format
You will receive 8 hours of training, which is available as either one full-day class or two half-day classes. See below for the upcoming schedule. Classes listed as “2-day class” consist of two half-day sessions.
Cost
The class fee is $175 per person and includes: textbook, class, printed training materials, and the proctored exam.
