In early 2021, Larimer County received federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding for Emergency Rent Assistance.

The $10,740,000 distribution helped eligible Larimer County residents with rent and utility assistance. The County's allocated funds were expended by the end of 2021.
