2nd Annual NoCo Fruit and Vegetable Farm Hop
Join us for a full day of behind-the-scenes tour of Northern Colorado farms!
Discover how your local fruits and vegetables are grown, processed, and brought to your table. You'll experience a guided tour of three farms across Larimer and Weld Counties, with hands-on activities, games, and plenty of opportunities to connect with farmers and fellow localvores!
You'll learn:
- How a farmer can grow on just 3 acres of land
- What a mushroom-growing warehouse looks like
- How baby carrots are made
- Much, much more!
Event Highlights:
Tour three working farms:
Well Fed Farmstead – Small-scale growing & farmstand shopping
Hazel Dell Mushrooms – Indoor mushroom production & soil health demo
Hungenberg Produce – Large-scale veggie production & packing
Comfortable charter bus transportation included with AC, bathroom, and water.
Prepare for outdoor walking, sun exposure, and some hands-on fun!

Local lunch (served on the bus!)

Parking & Check-In:
Please arrive at the Larimer County Extension Office by 8:30 a.m. Free and plentiful parking is available.
We’ll enjoy a light breakfast and check in before boarding the CSU charter bus at 9:00 a.m.
