Food Safety Works is a hands-on training for food service workers, volunteers, and anyone preparing food for the public. It covers core safe food handling principles--from proper cooking and storage temperatures to preventing cross-contamination and maintaining personal hygiene.
Completing the course provides a 2-year certification recognized across Colorado, valued by many employers.
Note: This is not a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) course, which is requirement to meet Colorado's 2022 FDA Food Code.
This 3 hour course meets in-person. Please make sure you can attend on-site. The cost for this course is $20 per person. We offer virtual classes also. Please check the class calendar.
