Join us at Lee Martinez Park on Saturday, September 27th from 12–3pm for the second annual Healthy by Nature Fair, hosted by Nature and Health Northern Colorado in partnership with CSU Extension and Fort Collins Natural Areas.

The event is free to attend and a picnic lunch will be provided!

What’s in store:

  • Free Zumba: Get moving, have fun, and feel energized!

  • Northern Colorado Wildlife Center: Meet rehabilitated animals and learn about local wildlife, conservation, and how we can all play a part in protecting Colorado’s wild neighbors.

  • Hands-on Activities: Make small nature crafts, build your own nature route, try VR demos, participate in trivia, and explore interactive educational exhibits on wildlife, plants, forest health, bird conservation, and outdoor safety.

  • Free Food & Prizes: Including 10 fishing licenses up for grabs! Plus fun swag, pocket guides, and “Explorer” publications that list all of our free programs.

  • Interactive Booths: Connect with local organizations like The Gardens on Spring Creek, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, One Health Institute at CSU, Larimer County Extension, CSU Natural User Interaction Lab, and many more. Learn about volunteer opportunities, stewardship initiatives, and resources to help you enjoy nature affordably.

From butterflies to wilderness first aid to mindful birding, there’s something for everyone!
