Northern Colorado Regional Economic Development Initiative

The Northern Colorado Regional Economic Development Initiative (NoCo REDI) is a coalition of economic development professionals working to support the economic vitality of Northern Colorado. The partnership is comprised of individuals from:

  • municipal economic development offices,
  • regional non-profit economic development organizations and
  • educational institutions.

Started in 2014, the partnership serves as a regional think-tank on economic, workforce and community issues impacting our communities.

Code of Ethics

In 2016, the partnership signed a Code of Ethics to:

  • clearly define the rules of engagement for our region,
  • state how the economic development community with operate and
  • agreeing to promote the entire Northern Colorado area.

This level of regional cooperation is necessary as Larimer County and surrounding areas continue to thrive in a rapidly changing economic environment.

Regional Business Retention and Expansion Partnership

Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) is a community-based economic development strategy that engages communities to:

  • examine the local business situation to understand businesses' needs through relationship building with businesses,
  • interpret the information collected,
  • and collaboratively respond to business needs and strengthen the ecosystem for healthy economic growth.

Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development convenes a group of Economic Developers from around the region to strengthen our existing business community through collaborating to enhance the continued growth and success of our local companies. Our BRE partners agree to Rule of Engagement that ensure the confidentiality of information shared by businesses while supporting meaningful collaborative engagement.
