What is Veterans Priority of Service?

- Veterans who served in the active military, naval, or air service and who were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable; and,
- Eligible spouses of those Veterans who have total service-connected disabilities or who died as a result of service-connected disabilities.
Priority of service means that those Veterans and eligible spouses, who meet all the eligibility requirements for a program or service, are to receive access to that program or service either earlier in time or instead of persons who are not eligible for priority of service.
