The Scholars Programs are free, scholarship-based adult education programs offered through Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development and funded by Colorado’s Adult Education and Literacy Act (AELA) grant. These programs focus on meeting you where you are, helping you build skills, stay motivated, and move forward with skills or a credential that opens doors to new career and education opportunities. Your goals are within reach—and we’re here to help you achieve them.

Career Scholars

Career Scholars focuses on helping adult learners earn their high school equivalency (GED) to unlock new career and educational opportunities. As a Career Scholar, you’ll receive 1-on-1 tutoring, access to both physical and online study resources, and full coverage of all GED testing costs. Whether you’re returning to school after many years or need a supportive environment to reach your goals, our team is here to make the learning and testing process comfortable, efficient, and effective.

Digital Scholars

Digital Scholars is a free training program offering personalized digital literacy support, one-on-one tutoring, and structured online coursework to help participants build confidence and prepare for today’s job market. As a participant, you'll begin with orientation and a self-assessment to identify your current skill level and employment goals. We'll then work with you to create a weekly learning plan tailored to your needs. Digital Scholars offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks to help you achieve your digital literacy goals.

Eligibility
