Looking for additional skills and training to transition or advance your career?  LCEWD may be able to help you take the next step in your education, training, or career. LCEWD scholarships focus on industry-recognized credentials for in-demand occupations in Larimer County.

Training Eligibility

You may be eligible for training funds if ONE of the statements below applies to you.

  1. You are a veteran or eligible spouse of a veteran, and are a public assistance recipient (SNAP, TANF, LEAP, CCAP, Section 8 Housing Choice, SSI).
  2. You are an unemployed Larimer County resident who is a public assistance recipient (SNAP, TANF, LEAP, CCAP, Section 8 Housing Choice, SSI).
  3. You are an individual who has been laid off through no fault of your own, are monetarily eligible for Unemployment Insurance (UI), AND are unlikely to return to similarly skilled work, which is generally documented by 6-weeks of Unemployment benefits and/or a personal job search log indicating active job search without an offer of employment.

These are basic eligibility requirements, and there may be other circumstances that could qualify you for training funds. If you are not sure, please apply.

  • LCEWD doesn't provide the training but may be able to help fund your training.
