Possibilities Following the Interview

Congratulations! Here’s what to do next:
Ask for the offer in writing so you understand your pay, schedule, and start date.
Clarify details like uniform requirements, workplace expectations, where to report and who you’ll report to.
Talk with your family about how the job fits into your transportation and schedule.
Accept the offer formally. This could be by phone, email, or in person, depending on how it’s given.
Keep communicating professionally, even after you're hired!
Sometimes an employer needs:
References (names and contact info of adults who can speak about your character and work ethic).
Work documents (like a photo ID, Social Security card, or age certificate).
To schedule a second interview or meet another team member.
Tip: Respond quickly and keep your communication polite and clear!
Don’t worry! It’s common to wait several days or even weeks.
Here’s what you can do:
Wait at least one week, then follow up with a polite message expressing your continued interest.
Continue applying to other jobs while you wait.
Reflect on the interview and think about what you’d do the same or differently next time.
It’s okay. Not every interview ends in an offer. You can still take something valuable away.
Thank the employer for the opportunity and express interest in future openings.
Ask (if comfortable) for feedback to learn and grow.
Review your notes and keep practicing for your next interview.
Remember: Every “no” gets you closer to a “yes!”
