Nectar Nominations offers a focused, intentional approach to employee recognition. It serves as an essential channel for employees to highlight outstanding work and contributions that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Benefits:

  • Spotlighting specific behaviors, demonstrated guiding principles, or exceptional customer service.
  • Acknowledging outstanding achievements that warrant a formal, peer-driven review process.

When to Use:

Nominations are used when you want to include a wide range of employees in the selection of an award winner. Submissions can be easily reviewed, chosen, and shared.

How it Works:

  1. Setup: Custom Nominations are designed around specific elements—such as key behaviors, demonstrated guiding principles, or excellence in customer service—that the department aims to promote and reinforce. Departments work with HR to outline the criteria, duration, and awards for the program.
  2. Nominate: The designated employee group can nominate their fellow coworkers based on the selected criteria.
  3. Clear Communication: Inform employees of the criteria for submitting nominations and the specific standards for the selection of the winner(s).
  4. Selection Process: A carefully chosen committee is responsible for reviewing submissions and making the final selections. This committee can include a diverse range of employees, from Management to Front Line staff, ensuring fair and broad representation.
  5. Awarding the Prize: Once selected, the winner(s) will automatically receive the pre-determined amount of points.
