These are the current communication tools and methods being utilized by Larimer County.

  • Bulletin Board
    The Bulletin Board is the employee intranet and hub of internal information. The Bulletin Board is used for Secondary and General communication.
  • County-Wide Emails
     
  • Email Subscription Lists
    Subscription lists are used to share ongoing messages and project updates. Subscription lists are reserved for Priority and Secondary communication.
  • Employee Surveys
    Employee surveys are reserved for Priority and Secondary communication.
  • Events Calendar
    The Event Calendar shares upcoming events employees may be interested in. The calendar is used for Secondary, and General communication.
  • Flyers
    Flyers are generally used for notice boards, break rooms, or other areas where announcements are posted. Flyers are reserved for Secondary communication.
  • Inside Information
    Inside Information is the internal, employee newsletter and is sent to all employees twice a month, on the first and third Friday of each month. Inside Information is reserved for Secondary and General communication.
  • Mailers
    Mailers are paper mail, sent to employees’ homes through the postal service. Mailers are reserved for Secondary communication.
  • Targeted Emails
    Targeted emails ensure that only specific employee groups receive pertinent information to their position or role within the County, thereby eliminating unnecessary communication with the rest of the organization. Targeted emails are reserved for Priority and Secondary communication.
  • Text Alerts
    Reserved for Emergency notifications, falls under Priority communication. See Section II, Part C, #3 above.
  • UKG Mobile App
    This tool is not used at this time.
  • UKG News & Announcements
    This tool is not used at this time.
  • Zoom Announcement Channel
    The Zoom Announcement channel is reserved for emergency notifications or requests for action on the part of employees. This tool should not be used for engagement purposes, as employees are unable to respond on this channel.
