Thank You to the Elections Team for Providing Phone Support During a Special District Election on May 8

Dear Elections Office:

Thank you for being open on our election day!  Having you on our side was invaluable.

I’m so grateful that somebody was willing and able to answer the phone and answer our questions throughout the day.

Thank You Poem from Richard, a Senior Tax Worker to the Clerk and Recorder Office

Richard just finished his hours as a Senior Tax worker for the Clerk & Recorder office and wrote this poem for them as a Thank you.  Human Services thanks Clerk & Recorder for their participation in this program.

Thank You to the County Commissioners Regarding the Garbage Garage Education Center at the Landfill

Dear Commissioners, I would like to let you know that our granddaughters had a simply fabulous time at the art class at the Garbage Garage - Trash to Treasures. Gloria Cohen was a wonderful teacher and mentor. They learned a great deal about the waste stream and how to conserve as well. Thank you so much for making these opportunities available.

They were helping a client to obtain benefits on a prepaid debit card.  The two employees worked together to communicate with the State and get the benefits due to her.  The client sent the following thank you card.

A client of the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) sent a message from her children and herself saying the following: 

To all of you that work with CCAP,

I, as a fellow Social Worker, understand the demands of the job that you do. I just wanted to take a minute to thank you all for what you are doing. I appreciate the program and the amazing people that run it. Without CCAP, I have no idea how I would be able to make my entire life work. When I have a question or need help navigating through things, you are all so prompt and happy to help. Too often, we forget to acknowledge gratitude, so I wanted to say THANK YOU. Thank you for making a difference in my life!

Human Services received feedback regarding Darla Schmidt, Income Maintenance Technician II.

A client left a voicemail for a manager that said, "I talked to [Darla] last week about some problems I was having.  She took my phone number down and got back to me within an hour or so, and it’s like 'right on'.  I figured it was all good after that.  Well I received a call from her around 3 o’clock today and she dug a little deeper and it’s a whole lot better.  I would like to thank you guys for having people like Darla.  Darla thank you!"
