Employee Recognized: Susan Krogmeier, Human Services Benefits & Community Support
Dear Susan, I got your message today and that is great news. I know that you went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and for that I'm extremely grateful. I am fully aware that you guys are overworked and under staffed and all of the beaurocratic paperwork doesn't make things any easier. I wasn't always like this, I was an athlete, buisiness owner, special olympics coach and care giver, not to mention a father and husband. I have had Hodgkins disease on and off for 20 years. The disease and the treatments have finally caught up to me and this is what's left. I have an extremely difficult time asking for help. call it stubborn pride. Every once in a while someone comes along that doesn't ask why, but takes it upon themselves to make a difference. Thanks for being that someone. If there is ever anything I can do for you please do not hesitate to get in touch. In leui of an emoji here is a smiley face saying thanks!

Thanks a million for your human services overview for Estes Valley Library staff. The resource list was terrific, but as importantly, the reminder of both compassion and boundaries were extremely well received.
We are working on the public library's contribution to bolstering the network available in Estes Park, and look forward to working with you again soon.
Best,
Claudine Perrault, Director Estes Valley Library
