The LINC Governance Board began meeting to create the data governance (oversight) process and guide the project’s future.

The Board's first action was to engage with a legal consultant specializing in HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 data. In conjunction with the legal consultant and agency counsel, the Board developed a data-sharing framework guided by a charter, data-sharing and business associate agreements, and a release of information consent form, in accordance with legal requirements, while adhering to patients' rights and agency objectives.

The Project Team built and made significant progress toward completing the platform, refining appropriate access permissions and access logs for auditing, and defining, loading, and validating data in the database.

Additionally, the Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) Mapping process was updated, still revealing critical gaps in care and the need for improved information sharing.
