Create a permission-based, legally compliant system for secure information sharing and communication between agencies serving individuals in crisis.
 

Goals & Objectives

The initial goals are as follows:

  1. Complete LINC Charter
  2. Define Outcomes and Success Measures
  3. Create the Communication, Marketing and Branding Plan
  4. Establish the Purpose and Participation of Subject Matter Experts and Data Steward Groups
  5. Complete Data-Sharing and Business Associate Agreement Between Agencies
  6. Create Release of Information (Consent Document) and Determine the Process for Collection and Entry
  7. Define and Implement the Audit Process
  8. Define Roles & Permissions for Usage and the Data that will be Shared with Each Role
  9. Determine the Purpose of the Data
  10. Establish the Process for Onboarding New Agencies
  11. Determine Needed Expectations of the System
  12. Implement Policy and Procedural Change Process (at the agency level)
  13. Identify Agency-Specific Goals

 Data Purpose

Data shared through LINC is used to:

  • Improve and prioritize client care
  • Strengthen collaboration between agencies
  • Increase safety for officers and citizens
  • Reduce unnecessary incarceration
  • Support informed decision-making
  • Optimize the use of resources
