The initial goals are as follows:
- Complete LINC Charter
- Define Outcomes and Success Measures
- Create the Communication, Marketing and Branding Plan
- Establish the Purpose and Participation of Subject Matter Experts and Data Steward Groups
- Complete Data-Sharing and Business Associate Agreement Between Agencies
- Create Release of Information (Consent Document) and Determine the Process for Collection and Entry
- Define and Implement the Audit Process
- Define Roles & Permissions for Usage and the Data that will be Shared with Each Role
- Determine the Purpose of the Data
- Establish the Process for Onboarding New Agencies
- Determine Needed Expectations of the System
- Implement Policy and Procedural Change Process (at the agency level)
- Identify Agency-Specific Goals
Data Purpose
Data shared through LINC is used to:
- Improve and prioritize client care
- Strengthen collaboration between agencies
- Increase safety for officers and citizens
- Reduce unnecessary incarceration
- Support informed decision-making
- Optimize the use of resources
