**UPDATE**Death of Former NFL Player and Superbowl XL Winning Champion
On June 19th, 2023, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a private residence in Fort Collins, Colorado to investigate the death of a 46-year-old male. The decedent is identified as former NFL Player and Superbowl XL Winning Champion, Clark Haggans of Fort Collins, Colorado.
An autopsy was performed on June 21st, 2023, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Forensic Pathologist Dr. Joe White, DO.
The results of the investigation concluded the following:
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Complications of Chronic Ethanol Use
