Unincorporated Larimer County residents needed for cable TV, internet survey

Residents in unincorporated Larimer County are being asked to share their views on cable TV and internet services from a newly launched survey conducted by Larimer County.

Results from the survey are critical for the cable franchise renewal process between Larimer County and  Comcast-Xfinity Cable Communications, and TDS Broadband Services, Inc. Both Comcast-Xfinity and TDS Broadband offer services in unincorporated Larimer County.

Residents of unincorporated Larimer County are needed for the survey regardless of whether they subscribe to Comcast or TDS, and can participate in the survey online or by U.S. Mail. The survey closes on April 7.

The survey will help Larimer County gather information from unincorporated residents on the communication service levels and satisfaction provided by these companies to determine if they meet community needs and service preferences in upcoming franchise contract negotiations.

The survey is specifically tailored for residents who live in unincorporated areas of Larimer County, and strong feedback from residents will enable Larimer County to ensure high-quality TV and improved broadband and internet services are accessible.

Residents who live in unincorporated Larimer County are encouraged to participate in this vital survey since responses and needs that are expressed in the survey will help shape the future services available.

Participate in the survey by visiting the Larimer County survey website at the Larimer County 2024 Cable and Internet Services Survey or by calling Larimer County Public Affairs at 970-498-7015 to request a survey be mailed with a postage-paid return envelope.
