Larimer County, Loveland, and Fort Collins have joined forces on a comprehensive Regional Housing Needs Assessment (HNA). This collaborative effort aims to pinpoint the most pressing housing gaps and gain a deeper understanding of the hurdles residents face in securing and maintaining stable homes in our region.

On Monday, March 2nd, Root Policy Research presented the critical takeaways from the draft report, outlining the data-driven reality of our current housing landscape.

From Data to Action

The HNA is more than just a report; it is the foundation for our next steps. By identifying where the needs are greatest, we can move forward with:

  • Jurisdictional Housing Action Plans (HAP): These plans will outline specific strategies to improve housing affordability, ensure stability, and manage future growth.
  • Targeted Solutions: Helping our local governments better serve the diverse needs of our community members.
  • Unlocking Resources: Completing this assessment unlocks vital funding preferences from the State, bringing more resources to our local housing initiatives.

Review the Findings & Watch Now

We encourage you to review the findings and watch the recent presentation to learn more about the future of housing in our region.
