2026 Approved Fee Schedule for South/North Landfill and Transfer Station
The 2026 landfill and transfer station pricing has been approved by the Board of County Commissioners. The Transfer Station is planned to open on July 1, 2026, at Taft Hill Rd. The pricing listed is for both landfills and the transfer station.
 
Estes Park Transfer Station Cash only today

The credit card machine at the Estes Park Transfer Station is down today.  They will accept CASH ONLY! 

 
Cash or Checks only for Wellinton Convenience Center

The Wellington credit card machine is currently not working.  Please plan on paying for your trash with cash or check until further notice.  
4th of July Closure for Transfer Station and Residential Recycling

The Estes Park Transfer Station and Residential Recycling will be closed on the 4th of July.

Let your creative juices flow, submit a design for battery safety sticker

We use and dispose of many batteries, and some can cause three to five fires per month at the Larimer County Solid Waste Facility.

The Larimer County Landfill, Recycling, Household Hazardous Waste and the Landfill office will close at 2:30 on New Years Eve and be closed on New Year's Day.
