  • Secure online portals to access and vote your ballot
  • Extra time to receive and send your ballot in the mail

Updating Your Mailing Address

As a UOCAVA voter, it is extremely important to make sure that your mailing address is accurate. Every year, we are required to send every UOCAVA a physical outreach letter in the mail. If this letter comes back as undeliverable, your status will be changed to inactive and you will not receive a ballot for the upcoming election. If you have any questions, please contact our Office at (970) 498-7820 or uocava@larimer.gov

Withdrawing from UOCAVA

Changing your mailing address will not remove your UOCAVA status. As such, please make sure to withdraw your status once you've returned to Colorado. To withdraw your status, all you need to do is update your registration with the Colorado Secretary of State. To withdraw your status:

  1. Log in to edit your voter registration with the Colorado Secretary of State
  2. Click 'Edit' using the button on the right at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Verify your identity by entering your Colorado driver's license, ID card number, or the last four digits of your social security number.
  4. Select "None of these" under "Are you any of the following?"
