Bingham Hill Safety Improvements

SCOPE OF WORK

Construct new, widened paved shoulders. 

Improvements include:

  • new segments of paved shoulders on both sides of County Road 50E

PURPOSE

This project is planned for:

  • safety improvements to provide space for cyclists outside the travel lanes

BUDGET 

$427,685

Funded in part by a Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HISP) Grant (pending CDOT approval)

PROJECT STATUS

  • design in progress
  • utility relocations expected in Fall 2026
  • UPDATE: construction expected in Spring 2027
