A fun, yet challenging hiking adventure, open and inclusive for civilian and veterans. A day enjoyed outdoors that celebrates community, partner collaboration and pushing to thrive.

The Poudre River is more than just water; it is a bustling corridor of biodiversity and a testament to the power of restoration. Alongside Larimer County Naturalists, you'll track the progress of both human and beaver-led efforts to protect these sensitive riparian lands. Discover the science and the stories behind the river's ongoing recovery.

Who can attend?: Registered participants, including civilians, veterans, and youth over 5 who are living with a physical disability, and families or caregivers.

Expectations: Must be able to self-transfer up or down by 12+ inches; must be comfortable in group spaces and noise; must be 18 years or older to participate.

How should I dress? Please comfortable layers conducive to physical activity, closed toe shoes, and

What should I bring? Participants are recommended to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and hat, as well as any personal gear utilized for adaptive hikes.

Timeliness: All participants, volunteers, and community partners are expected to register for each event, arrive on time, and be ready for program start. Please notify staff in case of cancellation, running late, or any other event.
