Leave It To Beavers!

Along with general information about beavers, participants will also learn how an animal that needs riparian habitat can also pose challenges. Beavers Influence their surroundings, and that can be a nuisance. As beavers spread out in adaptation to their changing surroundings, including our own urban community; t's important for us to learn about their behavior, as well as how and why to appropriately deal with the challenges of living with urban beavers. Leave it to Beavers!!!!
Meet near the picnic tables at the River Bluffs Open Space trailhead. Car pooling is recommended as parking is limited. Bring binoculars, as desired, as well as water and snacks. Trail is paved.
Participants should bring:
Sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen)
Wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes (closed-toe recommended)
Water
Insect repellant
Snacks
Clothing appropriate for the weather
Backpack (to carry it all)
