TAC 212 Youth Engagement Specialists

TAC 212 hires Larimer County youth between the ages of 16-18 for the position(s) of Youth Engagement Specialist.
The $17.00/hr. position is a 12 month commitment at 10 hours per week. Applicants must be a high school student for the upcoming school year to be considered. The working hours are within the TAC 212 hours of operation: Tuesday - Friday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Saturday from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Two positions will be open from April 1-14, 2024.
The focus of the work includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing direct service to youth and community agencies
- Having program management skills
- Bringing community activism and awareness of needs of local youth
- Gaining experience facilitating and teaching classes
- Ability to work with a team
- Willingness to learn software for data collection and program management
- Desire to gain experience in public health, marketing, education and other related career paths
- Desire to make a lasting difference in the Fort Collins Community
