TAC 212 hires Larimer County youth between the ages of 16-18  for the position(s) of Youth Engagement Specialist. 

The $17.00 per hour position is a 12 month commitment at 10 hours per week. Applicants must be a high school student for the upcoming school year to be considered. The working hours are within the TAC 212 hours of operation: Tuesday - Friday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Saturday from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM. 

The focus of the work includes, but is not limited to:

• Providing direct service to youth and community agencies
• Having program management skills
• Bringing community activism and awareness of needs of local youth
• Gaining experience facilitating and teaching classes
• Ability to work with a team
• Willingness to learn software for data collection and program management
• Desire to gain experience in public health, marketing, education and other related career paths
• Desire to make a lasting difference in the Fort Collins Community
