Yard & Garden Services
General Questions:
If you have a general yard or garden question, you have a few options:
Email Your Questions: Master Gardeners are available year-round and are often found at many community events during the growing season. Send your questions and photos to LarimerMG@gmail.com.
Stop by the Office: Master Gardeners are available to answer questions in person on Wednesdays 10am – 1pm, April 13th – Oct. 19th at our office: 1525 Blue Spruce Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
Stop by the Larimer County Farmers’ Market: Master Gardeners will be at the Larimer County Farmers’ Market at 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins to answer your questions every Saturday, May 21st – Oct. 29th, 9am – 1pm.
No matter which option you choose, please bring photos of the area in question and/or samples if appropriate. There is no charge for this service.

Other options:
Sometimes, it's not possible to diagnose a problem just by photos or samples. That's where the Tree Team and lawnchecks come in.
Tree Team
Specially trained Master Gardeners are available for on-site visits to assess, troubleshoot and diagnose tree issues. There is a recommended $25 donation. If you think you need a tree team visit, please contact the CMGs at LarimerMG@gmail.com or call the Extension Office at 970-498-6000. They will ask some questions to determine if the issue can be resolved without an onsite visit.
Lawncheck
A lawncheck provides an on-site assessment of your lawn with recommendations of how to address irrigation issues, weeds, disease, and cultural problems.
Current Fees (please contact us for the most up to date information):
- Homeowners: $75
- HOA Visits: $150
If you think you would benefit from a Lawncheck, please fill out this form here or contact us at 970-498-6000. We will review your request and determine if an in-person visit is necessary or if a no-cost option is possible.
