Larimer County's Office of Housing Stability recognizes that homeownership is a key pathway to housing stability for our community members. Given the increasing median home prices and the financial pressures of inflation on current homeowners, the County understands the importance of accessible resources in maintaining housing stability.
While the Office of Housing Stability does not directly provide loans, down payment assistance, or repair grants, it collaborates closely with regional partners to facilitate low-interest homeowner loans and to promote various property owner resources available throughout the region.
Homebuyer resources support individuals in the home purchasing process by providing educational programs on costs, risks, and steps involved. They also offer financial assistance such as down payment grants and low-interest loans. These resources help prospective buyers make informed decisions, manage budgets, and secure funding, making the path to homeownership more accessible and manageable.

Homeowner resources provide essential support and guidance for maintaining and improving residential properties. These resources often include financial assistance programs, such as grants or low-interest loans, to help with home repairs and energy efficiency upgrades. They are designed to enhance homeownership stability, promote property upkeep, and support long-term housing and financial sustainability.
Landlord resources provide support through financial assistance like rebates and low-interest loans for property maintenance and energy upgrades. Landlords can also access legal and mediation services for dispute resolution, regulatory issues, and educational programs on property management and tenant relations. These resources help landlords maintain their properties, address challenges, and build positive tenant relationships, leading to a successful rental experience.
