All Larimer County Administrative Services, Courts, District Attorney’s Office, Offices at the Ranch, and Landfill are closed on Dec. 25, 2025, to celebrate the Christmas holiday, and remain closed on Dec. 26. The Landfill, Offices at the Ranch, and Courts will be open Dec. 26th.
Critical county services are not disrupted by closures.
This property provides a visual backdrop for the Town of Estes Park. It is south of Elkhorn Ave and is mostly a forested hillside which includes some riparian area. It is adjacent to the town's Gateway Open Space and may eventually have a trail that connects Gateway to the west end of the town.
This property was purchased to protect its open space viewshed values and includes passive recreational uses. It is owned by the Town of Estes Park and the conservation easement is monitored by the Estes Valley Land Trust as managed an addition to the Gateway easement.
