The Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement Board of the 8th Judicial District has announced grant applications for funding in 2026. The grant dollars are for agencies that serve crime victims in Larimer and Jackson Counties.

These funds are generated by Colorado Statute 24-4.2, which created a funding mechanism for programming and services for crime victims and to assist law enforcement.

Grant applications are due no later than August 29, 2025. The award decision will be announced in mid-October. Funding will cover the 2026 calendar year (1/1/2026-12/31/2026).

Applications can be found by visiting https://www.larimer.org/da/vicwit/vale and selecting the 2026 Grant Applications link. Application Guidelines and Request are also located on this site.

Potential applicants are encouraged to review the Application Guidelines to determine if they meet eligibility requirements.
